One of the highlights of our trip to Croatia, (Hvar), was our guided tour with Sinisa. As a local, he brings his knowledge of the island, history and Croatian culture to guests with enthusiasm. We had an amazing time on our tour, and would highly recommend it! Sinisa helps you see Croatia through his eyes, and provides an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our trip!

A great off road tour of the Island. Get off the beaten track and see more of the Island in a trip which takes in amazing views of surrounding Islands, through back roads and from high vantage points to swaying fields of lavender. Sinisa knows the Island like the back of his hand and his enthusiasm and passion for the Island shine through. Keep up the good work!

Terrific 4WD tour of the island around Hvar. The drive and hike up to Mt Nicholas was breath taking. What a view. Sinisa is well versed in Crotia history and how it ties into regional and world history. His passion for his island shows. I highly recommend this tour.

The best tour ever in 2003...

Quite an incredible tour! It was perhaps my most memorable experience in Croatia - such breathtaking views and 'hidden' parts of the island I was able to see! It really was grand - and something I mention in my travel anecdotes when speaking with New Yorkers about the charms of Croatia!

Thanks to Sinisa, his deep knowledge of the island, his competence and his kindness we spent (my wife and I, together with our dear friends Gabriella and Franco Grassi) an unforgettable day off road. Although decades of Hvar goers have discovered small countries unknown to us, breathtaking views. We learned a lot about the history, culture, the rural traditions of our beloved Hvar.

Also at the table Sinisa not been proved wrong at lunch made us serve octopus and potatoes baked under the Pekao. To say that the food was good is an understatement: poignant is the word just.
Thanks for everything Sinisa. Next year we will also ask other wonderful walks.

His every word betrayed the deep love for his island, a sentiment that unites us. Thanks to Sinisa maybe our little corner of paradise will remain intact, to tell all travelers undistracted thr history, the common roots, the admirable work of man who over the centuries have turned this island into one of the most beautiful in the world. I cannot reccommend this tour enough!
We got picked up from our accommodation at 9:30pm and Sinisa showed us another side to this beautiful Island that we would never have imagined existed.
He is extremely informative and gave a great running commentary throughout the day.
Lunch was amazing! Traditional Croatia food - delicious!
The best thing about the tour is that Sinisa never seemed in a rush or that it was scripted or planned. He took us around and seemed to drive out of the way to show us another thing he thought we would like to see......
We got back around 7pm and felt it was the best tour of Hvar and showed us a different (interesting and beautiful) side to Hvar we don't know existed.
Thank you Sinisa!

We were fortunate to have our Off Road Day trip around Hvar last week with Sinisa and it was one of the best we have ever had and one of the best guides we have encountered. He is worth ever Kuna that you spend on this and we would recommend him as a must fior any visitor to Hvar. His enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism and honesty were of the highest calibre.
He desreves every success in this venture, please make sure all your friends who visit Hvar use this service

Čitam same pohvale o stranici i o izletima koje organiziraš.Kad sam pročitao da je zadovoljan i Maurice O Brien i komentar na izlet, onda samo nastavi tako, jer poznavajući Maurica(oko 15 godina) nije sklon oduševljenjima iz čiste pristojnosti.Pokrenimo Hvar! Samo naprijed! Zvuči poznato?

I also wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviews.

The small island of Hvar has a history of over 5,000 years of continuous human settlements and was also occupied by Greeks, Romans, Venetians, French and Austrians and evidence of this fascinating saga, as well as recent Dalmatian history are to be found all over the island---if you know where to look!

And what better way of doing this than with Sinisa of the 'Secret Hvar travel agency', where I booked a tour last week!

There is a set plan for the tour, including time off for a traditional lunch (included in the price) and a swim, but Sinisa will also improvise and tailor the trip to meet special wishes. In my case ( I'm a historian), the emphasis was on archaeology, history and art and his commentaries, delivered in faultless English demonstrated his love of the island, which is infectious and an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of his subject. In fact, this is a type of tour that any visitor would enjoy, even those who come to Hvar to just bake in the sun--as I do.

Sinisa is also a great story teller and a bit of a raconteur and genuinely friendly, definitely not, I suspect a priority in Hvar's tourist industry. In fact, like Laura and Ryan, at the end of the day, I too had won a friend.

But my most lasting impression was the return to Hvar along the recently constructed ( but not entirely finished ) stretch of road from Sv. Nedjelja to
Dubovica. Not for the faint hearted, it is, in my opinion, one of the most spectacular and picturesque cornice roads on Croatia's Dalmatian coast.

Finally; I'll be in Hvar next September and I intend to go on another adventurous tour with Sinisa--if he'll take me!
